As a talented general, cosmetic and biological dentist, Dr. Hye Park is the heart and soul of Green Dental of Alexandria. Dr. Park believes in using superior, patient-centered care while placing strong value on the connection between oral health and overall health. In doing so, her goal is to provide the best individualized dental care in the healthiest, safest and most holistic way possible through a whole-body approach.
Dr. Park is set apart by her unique commitment to deliver eco-friendly dentistry with innovative systems that support the environment. She is a certified SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique) provider and utilizes safe, environmentally-conscious dental practices such as green dental imaging, air and water purification systems and a green infection control system.
Dr. Park graduated from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She carries over a decade of active experience in dentistry.
Furthering her knowledge and skill in dentistry is important to Dr. Park. She believes that hands-on experience and education go hand-in-hand. Dr. Park has completed many hours of continuing education to stay on the top of cutting edge technology and the most advanced dental techniques available, including those in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, lasers, implants, oral sedation, Invisalign, dental implants, digital smile design, airway centered orthodontic treatments, TMD and sleep apnea.
